Cancer Awareness Program at SBPV School & Jr. College
Highlights:
- Dr. Shefali Deshpande spoke on Signs and Symptoms, healthy lifestyle, her experiences and learnings while working with cancer patients, importance of early diagnosis and myths about cancer.
- Rupali Shah a warrior she narrated her inspirational life before and after cancer along with lots of do's and don'ts. An motivational session.
- Smita Mehta briefed about how, why and how Umeed Cancer Support Forum was formed. Importance of mental health during the treatment and how a normal life can be lead even after Cancer.
A cancer awareness program for Women’s Health was organized by SBPV school and junior college on 28 th March 2026. Umeed Cancer Support Forum had conducted this program.
☘️ Umeed ‘s co-produced movie ‘Mardonwali Baat ‘ was shown .
☘️ One more warrior from Junnar Mrs. Sonali Deshmukh spontaneously shared her experience also. She is one of Umeed’s member.
☘️ It ended with Q&A session. With many queries showing the urge to know more about cancer and how to face it.
☘️ More than 200 participants actively participated.
